Riccardo Tisci’s long-awaited debut collection for Burberry hit the runway in September with what the creative director describe as a meeting of all generations. “The mother and the daughter, the father and the son,” he said, after the show he named, Kingdom: “It’s like a patchwork or a mix of the British lifestyle.” Tisci’s aim for his new Burberry is to restore an inclusive balance to the brand and so for this cover shoot, instead of enlisting a celebrity or a famous face to grace the pages of our magazine, we chose seven unique individuals – all distinctly beautiful and interesting in their own way. Because as the United Kingdom, the home of Burberry, continues to evolve as a multi-cultural, diverse nation, true beauty is all about freedom. Freedom to be you.
